THE EDITOR'S PAGE
The intent of Soul of Travel Magazine is to provide a platform for travel writers and photographers starting off in the field and to provide quality content for the viewer and traveler.
In the first issues of The Soul of Travel Magazine we published, among others, the work of the participants of the Soul of Travel Writing workshops held in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico.
These workshop were an incredible success. The participants ranged from beginners to seasoned travel journalists and from 15 to 73 years old.
The workshops took place at Rancho Encantado, an eco-resort on the shore of Laguna Bacalar (the Lake of Seven Colors) in the state of Quintana Roo, near the Belize border.
The magazine is now open to manuscript and photograph submissions (no queries, please). Please email us for guidelines.
Please send us your suggestions and thoughts about the magazine and your photos and articles for the next issue.
PLEASE NOTE: Publication of new material on Soul of Travel is temporarily on hold as it is being redesigned in another format and at another location.
The magazine will be moved from my personal website to another--keeping the same URL, www.SoulOfTravel.com.
The new format will be of a blog--much easier to post/update--and will enable comments.
